Once-In-A-Lifetime Estate, Sold Under The Hammer

Last Saturday we had the privilege of auctioning a landmark 1950s estate set on the largest private riverfront land holding in Graceville selling for $5.65 million, one of Brisbane’s highest under-the-hammer auction result of the year so far.

The 6,532m2 riverfront allotment had been held by the family for 70 years with the sale finalising the estate of former World War II US Air force officer-turned successful Brisbane businessman, Burton “Pete” Peterson, and his wife Melda.

The property attracted strong interest during the campaign with 11 registered bidders on the day. See the auction wrap-up video below.
